SYNOPSIS

"Doors of Perception", as Aldous Huxley called them, capable of getting you in contact with supernal worlds, normally invisible, and with their inhabitants: do they really exist? Why, in altered states of consciousness, as a result of shamanic techniques or psychotropic substances (LSD, DNT, peyote, mescal, ayahuasca), does conscience get in contact with other worlds and creatures so real, which are beyond our normal plane of existence, thus becoming able to enter the information of the One-All or akashic field? What do spiritism, theurgic practices and modern channeling techniques have in common?

Moreover, why are the beings one encounters during such "experiences" identical to the elemental spirits, incubi, succubi, elves, dwarves, kobolds, jinns of the folklore, as well as the spirits of shamanism and the aliens of modern abductions?

Surgeries, sexual unions, tortures, hybridization, apocalyptic messages: behind the "mask" chosen for every different historical period, the alien abductions modus operandi is identical to the tales of unlucky wayfarers abducted by the Little People, to the shamanic spiritual journeys and to the traps orchestrated by tricksters, demons and jinns.

Quantum physics, holographic science and superstring theory are getting closer and closer to a Unified Theory of Everything which can confirm the ancient esotericists' intuitions and, on the other hand, can explain the reality we face in altered states of consciousness. Thus revealing the nature of the creatures that lean out of the multiverse and the millennary deception some of them operate towards the Souls of those who trust their manipulation and illusion plans.

BIOGRAPHY

Enrica Perucchietti lives and works in Turin as a journalist and writer. She graduated summa cum laude in Philosophy, with a research thesis in History of Religions about Alchemy; she left the academic career in order to become a television journalist. After several articles on national magazines and web portals, along with the publication of her first book, L'Altra Faccia di Obama, she decides to devote herself full-time to writing.
